1235X Finds Silver

Yesterday I was metal detecting under where a front porch used to be at an older home and found this silver quarter. It is a 1964 D. I was using my Fisher 1235X and the quarter was the first silver I have found with it. It is my back up detector and I have owned it about a year.

Silver Sunday

My brother and I went metal detecting at a site that has yet to let us down. We always find at least one old coin when we go there. Today I found a silver 1943 P war nickel, a silver 1943 Mercury dime, and 2 wheats both 1952 D. The pictures are of my brother Jabe and the coins.

Unique perspective on a daffodil

I took this picture today as our daffodils are now blooming.

Richmond Va

I was subpoenaed to testify at a hearing in Richmond on March 22, 2006. I went up the day before and spent the night. When I awoke I saw it had snowed about 1 inch. There was one accident on road 288 where it joins I64 involving 27 cars. There were about 25 separate accidents that morning. The snow and cold had caused the bridges and over passes to become slick. Here is some pictures outside my room.

WinterJam Concert

Here is part of my bunch leaving the concert. We all had a good time and it was a good show. The shuttle buses to and from the parking garages went rather well. It would be nice to have all the parking at the Civic Center.
